KT tape is good stuff. I love Rock tape too, but KT wins for quality at a better price point every time. I have a problem with adhesives on tape. Using Kinesio tape always comes with a downside for me and a limit on how long I can use it for. Once removed from 90% of places on my body I’ve used it I will have scabs in the tape pattern that take a couple of weeks to heal. KT is the same as any other tape I’ve used. It has kept me walking many times when I might not otherwise have been able to do so and it has save my neck, back, and shoulders many times. Currently I’m using it to support and help my foot…fortunately the bottom of my foot doesn’t seem to mind the adhesive – a miracle!

The site did not explain that the roll had precut strips on it which are too long for the purpose I needed them for. As for their use, they do provide some relief to the area that they are applied. Would prefer a roll that I can cut the length I need instead of wasting. a longer strip.

This tape is the best that I have tried. Holds for 3-4 days and is waterproof in the shower. Highly recommend.

Good adhesion even after a bath

Le maintien est correct uniquement si la partie est propre et lisse (obligation de raser la partie concernée). Les vidéos sont très claires et permettent de positionner les KT Tape seul.

Works great! I’m so glad I’d purchased, my daughter in-law Tell me about it . I have severe knee pain and the injections aren’t working. Since I using this types I’m different person. It feels the support right away, slow down the pain by 85%% truly love it!!

First off – the only reason I’m even taking away one star is because I wish it came in a not precut version. Or does it and I missed it? Idk, but my issue with the precut is it isn’t the right size for anything I use it for, so even though precut seems convenient I always have to cut it anyways and end up wasting a ton of tape.
But anyways, the product itself is great – IF you apply it correctly. Everyone here with adhesion issues claim they applied it properly or applied it “exactly how their physical therapist did it” but I’ve been able to put this stuff on and it last 3 days so….. I can’t imagine they’re doing it properly. Is more expensive tape better? Probably, but I’ll tell you how I apply this and for me it works just fine.
Clean skin seems obviously but I’ll say it anyways. Use an alcohol wipe if you have oily skin. But aside from the obvious, there’s 2 key tips to making it stick that I’d be willing to bet people aren’t doing.
1. The first like.. 1.5-2” of the tape – just stick that on your skin without pulling it tight. Then hold that area down while pulling the tape tightly over the area you’re treating. And then the last 1.5-2” same thing, don’t pull that part tight, just hold the end of the tightly pulled tape section and just stick the end on without pulling. It needs that bit of leeway at the beginning and end otherwise yes, it’s just gonna roll up into itself and not stick.
2. Once it’s applied you need to rub it to create some friction/heat. It WILL NOT stick long if you don’t do this. Be careful at the ends to not accidentally pull it back while rubbing it, but this part is key to getting it to stick.
I have several ailments I use this for but lately I’ve been using it for my plantar fasciitis rather than your traditional plantar fasciitis fixes. Wearing shoes and insoles with arch support seemed to be making it worse for me, so I went in the opposite direction and started wearing more minimalist/neutral shoes with wide toe box, and focusing on stretching and strengthening my feet. It’s helping, but sometimes I still have pain and that’s when I use this tape. It gives me just enough support without being as extreme/unnatural as insoles.
I suppose I could use a compression sock for the same effect, but I like using the tape because I can use more or less tape depending on how much support I want.

KT is the better of the kinesiology tapes and I’ve used several! This one is ok but the PRO is the better product for durability and actually, it’s almost unnoticeable on my wrists when I play the piano for events. I can take care of household and garden chores and it stays put. Although more $, definitely better wear time.

Great quality physio tape. Lots of videos on line to help you use it properly. Easily stayed on 3 days when properly applied to clean dry skin.

I have been using KT tape for months now, and it has helped multiple areas of pain for me. I love using this name-brand one, as opposed to an off-brand one. I noticed that when I use off-brand products and peel it off, it irritates my skin so much and leaves me with rashes. This brand does not do that! I’ve taped for shin splints, knee pain, back pain, and even rib-outs, and it’s helped all of it. The nude color is nice and not as noticeable. I can normally immediately feel the relief when I tape. I’ve had tape on for up to three days, even showering every day, and this brand stays on for me. If my skin is clean and has no lotion I have had no issues keeping the tape on. Highly recommend for athletes and dancers.

Not sure what is happening, but this tape I bought is in the same box as the one I bought from Dicks. It is NOT the same tape. The Amazon one was not sticky and was not the same thickness. Not good quality.
Had a good convo with KT about this, they were very responsive and I am happy. Issue resolved and I look forward to using their products in the future. Thank you KT!! 🙂

Some of the best physio tapes I have used.

I use in place of a brace on the knee and it works great. Very stretchy and has the strength to support and stabilize the knee. I like it comes in colors as well as neutral. It adheres well to the skin, so well that pulling it off can be quite painful and it can take some skin with it so leave it on til it starts peeling on its own unless you like pain.
