I’ve used kinesiology tape in rolls before, and while it works, cutting pieces always feels like extra hassle. These precut strips take away that step and the special shape make it much easier to apply to the knee. The pattern wraps well around the kneecap and gives steady support while still letting me bend and move without stiffness.
Putting it on was pretty simple after watching a few videos for proper application. The bottom part has no stretch so it provides good ancor (you are supposed to apply the bottom without the stretch). The 2 top parts of the tape have good stretch to provide the necessary support. It felt comfortable against my skin, and I didn’t notice any irritation even after wearing it for 2 days. The rounded edges help it stay down longer.
I wore it through a lot of walking, a shower, and even an hour in the pool without it coming loose. By the end of the second day it started peeling slightly around one edge, but given everything I put it through, I still thought it did great. When I went to remove it, it had still quite a bit of grip so it was like ripping off a bandaid a bit. No residue was left behind and no skin irritation.
For the price, getting a bundle of 15 strips is a good deal and much more practical than trimming tape from a roll.
All in all, it’s comfortable, supportive, and durable. Even with some edge lift after day two, it’s a reliable option I’d keep around for when I need extra knee support.

These are great. They are ready to go, so it saves me time. No cutting or rounding corners. It supports my joints. Don’t wear past 3 days or it will get itchy. It’s durable and I like the support to reduce joint pain.

I recently slipped and fell on my kitchen tile, hurting my knee in the process. It has been a longish recovery process. This precut kinesiology tape has helped out a lot.
I like that it is precut in a shape ideal to wrap one’s knee, which saves me from cutting and peeling unnecessarily. All I need to do is peel the backing of this precut piece and wrap around my knee and it fits perfectly. The backing comes off easily and the piece is easy to handle and wrap. It is also stretch to allow for individual differences in leg/knee size. The fact that the pieces that wrap up on top are hollow on the inside which allows for more flexibility and stretchiness to ensure the best fit around one’s knee. Keep in mind that unless you have a baby leg, the bottom, thick part of that cutuout is not long enough to go around your whole leg, it just tapes to the front.
The tape sticks on well, stays in place until I am ready to peel it off (usually about 24 hours), and is easy to peel off when it’s time. It is of good quality and functions well. It never irritated my skin even after 24 hours of continuous wear. The color is fine as I usually wear it under a longer skirt of pants but black is probably the best to not show staining. I also appreciate the value for the money as I got 15 sets which last me over half a month for a low price.

I followed the directions applying the tape to my leg at knee The area was clean and dry and the tape would not stick. I’ve tried three times.

The strips were already cut which made it simple to put on and I liked that I didn’t have to figure out how much to trim. Once it was on it felt light but secure at the same time and I almost forgot it was there until I bent my leg and noticed the extra bit of support. I tested it during a long walk in the heat and even after sweating it stayed in place without peeling off which surprised me. Later I kept it on in the shower just to see how it handled water and it still clung to my skin without sliding which made me laugh a little because I didn’t expect it to be that stubborn. The black color looked sharp against my skin and actually made me feel like I was geared up for something athletic even though I was just moving around my usual routine. Taking it off was not painful and left no sticky mess which I appreciated since I hate scrubbing residue.

You want the correct, incredibly strong knot to secure something, go find a sailor or an Eagle Scout. They studied knots and practiced like crazy. Nothing beats being professionally prepared.
Well, I saw these fabulous athletes that throw a few inches of tape on different parts of their bodies and continue in sport painlessly and easily. Oh, how wrong I am. I thought I could grab this preformed tape and wrap it around my knee, and I’m good to go.
No way, there’s muscle, tendon, bone knowledge behind the placement, the tightness, even the length of every application. Knowledge I don’t have yet.
The preformed shape may help, but without some education, it just looks cool but otherwise is useless. I wish this tape came with some instructional information and maybe directed us to a web page with further discussion and a few videos for exact application. It’s a good aid, but I need to learn a lot more to actually see any benefits.
