Great tape. It holds really well and gives me the support I need for my weak knee!
I find it is best to remove in the shower to avoid skin injury as it sticks until you remove it! I’ve had no skin irritation.

I have been using kinesiology tape for almost 20 years for various sports injuries. I work with PTs and OTs who help me with taping strategies and application so that I am getting therapeutic support and benefits from the tape. I’ve used many brands over the years. Here’s my input on GJUMP which I received this week. The good: K tape adheres and stays put as well as name brands. It has good elasticity and rebound. I found support and relief immediately upon application. The pre cut pieces are generous in size but may need to be cut down to fit appropriately for smaller frames or muscular which might impede the cost value vs a roll that is cut to size. The bad: the printing on the tape. I have a bicep injury and ordered the flesh colored tape specifically to be discrete but it arrived with a tire tread print and large branding printed on it. My friend immediately made a joke about being hit by a car the first hour I applied it and another then called me “Forest Glump.” My friends are kind and meant it in good humor but it’s ridiculous that the printing is so overt for a therapeutic product. I will have to remove and replace it before I return to work as it is overtly unprofessional. Overall: does it work? Yes. Do I look like a Pontiac ran over my arm? Also yes. Would I order again? No. I am not interested in calling attention to my injuries.

I bought this tape after getting tennis elbow from weight lifting. I found application directions on YouTube and applied accordingly. The tape is easy to apply and sticks well when applied to clean dry skin. I noticed a huge pain reduction after application, and the tape allowed me to work out and heal at the same time. It stayed out for 4 days and was still going strong when I removed it. I used olive oil to remove and didn’t have any issues. I retaped my elbow several times and was back to normal in a couple weeks. I’m going to try it for my knee next, and I’m expecting great results. I’m a new believer in this tape!

I was amazed at how much better my knee felt when walking with these on. The instruction pamphlet did not include knees, but the video the pamphlet sent me too did a demonstration on application. I also found better support if I stretched them a little. I wore each knee set for 2 days. After the first time I put these on, I learned that you stick once and rub and let the heat from your hands smooth them down for a few minutes or they will peel up. I also cleaned my knee with rubbing alcohol the 2nd time I applied and they lasted for days of showering. I got better support when I criss-crossed the bottom of them under my knee and wrapped around to the side of my knee. They are not bulky and do not show under my clothes. So far no skin irritation. This is a small price to pay for so much comfort and support. I have walked more in the past 2 days than all year and with less pain, and no knee slipping around.

This tape is comfortable and relieves pain. It comes to many colors and can be matched to skin tone. It is very comfortable, but difficult to apply for one person. The adhesion is very good. The pre-cut strips make it easy to use.
