I have been giving these to my kiddos for years! They haven’t learned to love fish yet, so I appreciate knowing they have a good quality supplement filling in the gap.
Kids love the flavor and have never complained about a fishy flavor.

My 2.5 year old daughter’s doctor recently told us she was showing signs of a deficiency in essential fatty acids, and suggested we put her on a fish oil supplement. The sign she was talking about is a bumpy, colorless rash on the back of my daughter’s arms. I was surprised because we serve a healthy, whole-food diet which is pretty rich in “good fats” but then when I thought about it I realized that just because we serve it, doesn’t mean she actually eats it. Frankly, she lives mostly on a steady diet of Fuji apples. Sometimes she eats the fish and eggs and other things we cook, but not always.
I knew Nordic Naturals was a trusted brand, so I decided to try these ones first. She absolutely loves them! I give them to her with her Vitamin D gummy bear, and she usually picks these up first before she gets her gummy. She does chew them.
The dosage is 4 softgels, so my only complaint is that they’ll run out pretty quickly. This 180 count bottle is only a 45 day supply for a child.
Before writing the review, I decided to try one to see what it tasted like. It doesn’t taste fishy at all that I can tell. When the softgel bursts, it releases a small amount of strawberry flavored liquid. The softgel itself takes a while to chew or dissolve. It vaguely reminds me of some familiar childhood candy but I can’t quite put my finger on what. I can’t quite figure out what my daughter sees in them that makes her love them SO much, but neither can I find anything objectionable about them. I’d be equally or more surprised if she refused to take them.
The bottle says they are for children ages 3 and up. I assume that’s because they might pose a choking hazard for younger kids. I decided to use them anyway rather than send them back and get the Baby DHA liquid. I do supervise my daughter taking them to make sure she doesn’t get it in her head to carry them around in her mouth all day or something. She has to chew and swallow them while I watch, and so far we haven’t had any objections to that routine. The doctor says to expect it to take 2-3 months of supplementation before the rash goes away so I can’t say yet whether it solved the problem.

In a nutshell, your kid will either love them or hate them. My little one asks for them, my older one runs away when the bottle comes out. They are chewable but it is a little strange to do so as others have pointed out. Not a strong fish flavor, but you can’t deny the essence of fish oil in your mouth.

I am incredibly impressed with these! As a mom, I always strive to provide the best nutrition for my children, and this Omega-3 supplement has quickly become a staple in their daily routine.
The mini soft gels are the perfect size for my kids and have a strawberry flavor that my children love. They look forward to taking their “strawberry vitamin pearls” every day, making it easy and hassle-free to incorporate into their morning routine.
The fact that these are Non-GMO and made with high-quality, pure ingredients further reinforces my trust in the Nordic Naturals brand. I love that they prioritize quality and transparency in their products!!
Overall, these are an excellent Omega-3 supplement for kids. They are effective, easy to take, and taste great, making them a win-win for both parents and children. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, child-friendly Omega-3 supplement!

Nordic Naturals Children’s DHA in strawberry flavor is a must-have for parents who want to support their kids’ brain development and overall health. The 360 mini chewable soft gels are easy for kids to take, and the strawberry flavor makes them enjoyable rather than a chore.
I love that each serving provides 250 mg of Omega-3 with EPA and DHA, nutrients that are essential for cognitive function and learning. These are especially helpful during the school year when kids need extra focus, and just as valuable during the summer to keep their brains active and healthy.
The soft gels are non-GMO and high-quality, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. They’re easy to chew and swallow, and I haven’t had any complaints from my kids about taste or texture.
Helpful Tip: Keep them in a cool, dry place, and make taking them part of your kids’ daily routine for the best results.
Overall, this supplement is a convenient, tasty, and effective way to help support your children’s brain health and development throughout the year.

Bought this in the month of aug, 24 saw lot of improvements in my son from focus to gaining interest in studies, speech also getting improved. I started with liquid, then to gummy, and 90 pack and after this 360 pack. Now I picked omega ultimate junior (higher in epa), hoping his speech and others things also improves over the time. This does not means you stop guiding your kid.
