The most important thing about a multivitamin gummy for children is how much like candy can it taste. With this multivitamin, it hits that mark quite well. In fact, the 50-year-old writing this review can unequivocally state that some adults will be tempted to enjoy this product, even if they don’t currently have young children living in the house. These are delightful; like having a sip of fruit punch in the form a very tiny gummy. The RDA for several key vitamins is high enough to make this part of anyone’s regimen if they really wanted to. After all, I know some septuagenarians who take baby aspirin.
As far as its intended use for young children, I’d have to say it does the trick.

These really encouraged the kids in my family to look forward to taking vitamins. They actually need to be monitored not to take too many. The bear shapes are cute and the gummies are firm enough not to clump all together as some other gummies we’ve tried in the past. They have a good mix of vitamins too. By the way, since these have zinc in them, they shouldn’t be taken near citrus (like orange juice) as that kinda negates Zinc’s immunity effects.

We like these a lot, because they are delicious and cute, and a fun way for my kids to get their vitamins! They are flavored and colored with natural juices, rather than synthetic dyes. They’re very sweet! If you have a child 3 and under, they will last for 2 months, since the serving size is one a day and there are 60. Over 3 yrs, it’s 2 a day, so it will last for about a month. Well worth the price to make sure your kids are getting what they need, and to ensure that they will take them!

Most kids aren’t going to buy that these are candy. But I think this is a good thing so they know the difference between candy and a supplement. These little bears are about 3/4 the size of a candy bear. They are just slightly softer in their chewiness. I see two colors and there are three flavors according to the label. I taste orange but can’t tell what the other flavor(s) is/are really suppose to be. To me, it tastes like fruit punch. One is a serving size. They smell delicious in the jar and they are not sticky. Overall a solid choice if you have problems getting your kid to take supplements.

This is a pack of two 30 gummies in well sealed bottles of kids multivitamins. This is a thirty day supply, unless your kid is under age four and then will take one only. Ours is five, so she takes two a day. The flavors are strawberry, orange and cherry and they are all yummy and taste like candy. They all contain your regular vitamins and minerals you find in kids multivitamins. This is a great choice for kids vitamins, as your kid will definitely want to take them.

Kids Multivitamin Gummies: $24.95 for a 60-count bottle at the time of review
My reasoning for looking into these gummy multivitamins is a little bit different than most peoples. I know that these vitamins are supposed to be for kids (they’re quite a bit sweeter, I think, then adult vitamin gummies). But I was actually seeking that out. I have found that a little burst of sweetness during the day actually keeps me from snacking. And I figured that, rather than just eating candy, I could use a sweet multivitamin gummy to get my vitamins and help squash urges to eat treats mid day.
I’m happy to report that these are quite successful for my intended purpose. The gummy’s are in fact delicious. They’re very sweet with a fruit flavor (though, I couldn’t pick out specifically which fruit). The texture is also pleasing, it’s not exactly chewy, but the mouth feel is good. It’s also difficult to taste any vitamin flavor (another common characteristic of adult gummy vitamins).
My one big problem here is the cost per serving. At $24.95 for the 60-count bottle, these come out to 42¢ per gummy. A serving for an adult is two gummies so I’m looking at 84¢ per day. The cold, hard fact is the Amazon Basics kids gummy vitamin is 6¢ per gummy or 12¢ per day. That is a huge disparity in cost and, frankly speaking, is a terrible value proposition.
At the end of the day, these vitamins do taste pretty good. And, they do serve the purpose of helping me get my daily vitamins and mitigating sweets cravings in the middle of the day. However, the value proposition of these is so poor due to their high cost per serving. Under all but the most extreme circumstances, I usually deduct a single star for a poor value proposition. I will admit that I was tempted to deduct two here (considering that they cost nearly 7 times what competitors do). However, I’m going to stick with one star deducted so the final score will be four stars out of five. I wouldn’t personally order these over again though, just due to the very high cost.
