Cold, and I mean nearly painfully cold for the first 10-15 minutes. Then bearable for another 30 min or so before it’s no longer cold. This is sufficient for my needs but if you are looking for long term cold this likely won’t work. The head band was very snug on my head, too snug on eyes so I had to use it above my eyes. I’ll keep it but it’s not quite what I had hoped for, steady beatable cold pack to keep in place for 30 solid minutes. I had to move it around to prevent feeling like I was going to get frost bite the first 10-15 minutes. During a migraine having to reportedly adjust was pretty annoying but eventually as it lost some of its bite it was tolerable.

I bought two sets of these head and neck gel packs. I’ve had five cervical spine surgeries. Unfortunately, with time ticking by, I’m still in pain which also shoots up to my head, literally debilitating me. These gel packs are my life savers, I wrap them around my head and neck, pop my pain pills down, and fall asleep easily. If my pain is still around after the gel packs thaw, I just get the next set out from the freezer and rewrap until I fall back asleep. (This way I don’t have to wait for them to refreeze) Doing this, knock on wood, I have always woke up pain free. Good luck to you.

These work so well for migraine relief, I recommend them to anyone who gets them! But word of advice, only put them in the fridge, the freezer is way too cold.

I have very frequent headaches but cold doesn’t always do well for me with them so I bought two of these. One to keep in the freezer so I don’t have to wait for it to get cold and one for if I want to put it in the microwave. The compression it advertises is there however my head is a bit small so I don’t really get to feel the benifits of that. Otherwise if you feel the need to have hot/cold go all around your head with a headache/migraine this is the product for you. I have slept with this on. It does not grab/pull your hair to wear if you do choose to wear it to bed. The gel or wherever is inside holds the cold really well and you can feel that cooling effect inside of it without putting it in the fridge/freezer for use. A friend of mine used mine straight from the freezer after a workout to cool down and she also really liked it and also gets migraines like me so I will likely be buying her one for her birthday.

Excellent product it has been great for my shingles. Helping me with the pain. The cold duration lasts for a long period. Very good quality. My shingles are very frequently but we have used it also for other reasons.

This is a life saver!! I have frequent migraines and this is so nice to block out the light and the cold feels good as well. I wish it were a cure but it helps alleviate some.of the crappy symptoms that come with migraines. I recommend it to anyone who has issues. I even use it when I have a normal head ache. Try it out for yourself.

These gel packs are amazing if you get migraines or lots of headaches. They are very easy to fit your head with Velcro. The quality is very good and they really work. They stay cold for a while and are comfortable. They are really nice.
