It gives decent support but the top at the back does not lie flat or stay flat and tends to be a noticeable lump under shirts. I’m find most effective comfort wearing a good posture brace along with separate back brace.

I work at a grocery store and I’m on the floor for 5 1/2 hours a day three days a week and I stock the shelves as well as unload the pallets. I used to come home with not only lower back pain, but my feet and other things would hurt as well. This brace not only helps my back, but it helps the other issues as well and it’s very comfortable to wear.
I am a larger woman, and it’s comfortable enough. I can still bend and move the way I need to. I no longer have to take Tylenol for back pain. It’s lightweight and I wear it underneath my work shirt. Nobody even knows I have it on. I do wear a shirt underneath it, but it is so comfortable and lightweight.

I initially purchased the wrong size and sent it back, and subsequently ordered a size larger. I’m very tall, so even though the size I ordered was correct according to the sizing chart, the brace just rode too high on my torso and didn’t support my lower back. My new order surprisingly arrived the next day. Overall, the quality of the product seems good. I’ve been using the back brace for over a couple of weeks, increasing my time with the brace every day. I do a lot of computing, both sitting and standing at my desk, and the back brace not only gives me support, but encourages better posture. I’ve also noticed that my back is more “relaxed” when I go to bed at night, so it seems to be working for me.

I ordered a TLSO brace, but shipping was going to take too long, so I ordered this to try in the interim. I suffered a compression fracture of my T5, which healed wrong, causing a deformity and also taking 2″ off my anterior height. It’s very painful for me to both stand and walk, and often to even sit, so I had to have something. This isn’t quite supportive enough for MY injury, but it does help quite a bit and is the most supportive of any other brand of this type that I’ve tried. Most thoracic fractures are T12 or lower, so my T5 fracture is very uncommon. Thus, I don’t think there’s anything negative about this brace at all. As I said, it’s the best of any brand I’ve tried, and I think it’s because it has two long metal strips going down the back and two shorter ones along the sides, offering much more support. That may make it sound uncomfortable, but it amazingly isn’t at all. It also doesn’t require someone else to help you put it on after it’s been adjusted to your personal fit either, which most rigid TLSO braces do. I think Fit Geno put a lot more thought into the design of this brace than other companies. Most just have thicker material or magnets and neither type was of benefit to me. I had to walk a good distance from street parking on another block to my doctor and PT appointments just a few days ago. Normally, I would’ve been in terrible pain before even getting there, but this brace made a huge difference. Normally, I wouldn’t be able to sit in a regular chair afterward either because the pain would be so bad that I had to lie down, but my pain was greatly reduced and made it possible to sit without the pain becoming any worse. This brace is pretty decent for me, so it may be perfect for people with different injuries. If your injury is farther down than the T5, since that is not common at all, this may work just fine for you. I’d recommend giving it a shot, as it is much less expensive than the rigid TLSO braces, and much more comfortable, too! This isn’t labeled as a TLSO brace, so I’m not trying to say that it is. I’m just saying that it’s a pretty good substitute for one, and you may not even require that type of brace, so I would recommend it over any other brands that are labeled to do the same as this one. My injury is very uncommon in its location and not correctable since it healed wrong. If those two things don’t apply to you, then save yourself the time and trouble of ordering and having to return the wrong brace and just order this brace, period. Good luck. I hope this was helpful.

I’ve been using the Fit Geno Back Brace (Medium) for a few weeks now, and it has the perfect balance between support and comfort. The soft, breathable mesh keeps cool even during long wear, and the adjustable straps ensure a snug fit around my shoulders and waist. The internal ABS support bars gently correct my posture without feeling restrictive. Very effective.
It fits discreetly beneath clothes, so people don’t have to feel self-conscious while wearing it.. For best results, I recommend starting with short wear-time sessions and pairing it with posture-strengthening exercises. The only downside I’ve seen in some reviews is potential velcro wear or dependency if worn all day, every day.
Overall, this brace is a smart investment for anyone wanting better posture and support with real comfort.

Everybody has a different body, so I can’t vouch for everyone. But this is perfect for my particular shape. I took out the boning and use this to support my abdominal organs because EDS makes it feel like they’re falling out when I’m vertical (sitting or standing). I was bed-bound before this due, to the pain and discomfort, and Fit Geno has helped me be semi-functional again. No other brand has helped me like this one. I own 3 black wraps, a gray, and a pink, and they’ve gotten me through the past 3 years. I’m about to order another black and the new beige, because the first ones I bought are showing the wear. BUT I use them 16-24/7, so that’s actually really impressive. They hold up! Thank you thank you thank you.
The one in the picture is almost 2 years old. As you can see, it’s still in great shape.
