I purchased this because my mother used to get leg cramps and she used it and it would work immediately so she could go back to sleep. It has been a godsend for my husband’s back. It does smell at first but the scent seems to die down after a bit. It is not the real harsh Mentholatum that feels like it’s burning your skin but seems gentle but works wonders.

The smell is overwhelming. I thought I was using Vicks. Well anyway, I fought through the smell and put on my legs and waited for the cream to work. It did not work for me at all. I purchased this product based upon the reviews and I am so disappointed in the lack of zero comfort. I want my money back.
