I’m really happy with this step. It took a bit of effort to put together, but it’s nice and sturdy and easy to use.

I bought one of these that had been returned by another customer, apparently because they couldn’t assemble it judging from the paint scratches. Being a retired nurse, I have put these together on several occasions for other people. Now that I am 76, I realized I needed one for myself. All the parts were present. Several reviewers have complained about the leg components not fitting together. I can assure you that they do fit but need some major help, especially if you’re an old fart like me. I have poor grip due to arthritis
1. A hammer or rubber mallet or a sturdy shoe is required to pound them together.
2. Before that tho, you need a lubricant like soap, hand lotion or something like WD-40. I had a bottle of lotion handy and used that on both ends of the components. Inside of one & outside of the other so you have lubricant touching lubricant where they come together.
3. You need a pair of slip joint pliers to hold the button in, while you pound the other end, to get the hole down. I knew a trick from my working days: Don’t line the button up with the hole until the button has disappeared into the leg piece. Makes it easier to move up/down to your preferred hole. Once you decide , turn the leg until the button pops out where you want it.
4. Attaching the handle: Don’t attach the U part until you have the leg sections in place.
Most people don’t realize that they are deliberately made to be very tight so it remains strong without any wobble that could cause it to fail.

Habe diesen Tritt für meine Mutter (89) gekauft. Sie steigt ohne Unsicherheit drauf da der Tritt wirklich standfest ist. Sie kann ihn von der Höhe verstellen was auch von Vorteil ist
Great author who knows how to carry the reader through the storyline. Great reading. Wayne –
Easy to assemble even though not a lot of instructions. Step could be a bit lower as it is difficult for my wife to use. If it were about an inch or so lower it would be great.

This stool was pictured nicely on the Amazon.com website and appeared to be what I needed. Unfortunately, it comes unassembled (legs and handle must be assembled by the buyer). The legs and handle cannot be attached because both the legs on the platform part of the stool and the additional section of the legs that must be attached to the stool all have exactly the same diameter, making it literally impossible to connect them. Either the legs on the platform or the legs that must be attached MUST be different diameters in order for them to slip onto each other. There are no instructions included with the package, except for diagrams showing the included parts. I will attempt a call to the VEVOR customer service to see what can be done to get the stool assembled completely. If I receive no useful information from VEVOR, the stool will be promptly returned to Amazon. Buyer BEWARE!!

Step itself is good, however if you aren’t putting your weight on the step before you touch the side support, it might unbalance.
