Bought this TruHeight protein powder for my active nephew who plays sports nonstop. He loves the taste and actually looks forward to his shake every morning. It mixes smoothly, no clumps, and I’ve noticed a real boost in his energy and mood. I like that it’s pediatrician-endorsed and made with clean ingredients to support his growth

I bought the TrueHeight chocolate protein powder for my two kids, and it’s been a game-changer for our mornings. The flavor is rich and smooth. It’s like a chocolate milk treat than a “health drink.” The texture blends beautifully with milk, no chalky clumps or weird aftertaste. My kids actually look forward to their daily glass, which is saying something! I also love that it’s packed with nutrients that support growth, so I feel good about giving it to them every day. It’s become part of our routine, and I’ve already stocked up on the next tub. Highly recommend for picky eaters who need a nutritious boost.

Do not buy! The website description ingredient list does not match the actual product. I took a long time to research similar products and settled on this one based on the ingredients the company claims. When we tried it, I was surprised my kids didn’t like it and said it was too sweet. I looked at the ingredient list on the packaging and I was surprised to see the ingredient did not match what I thought I had purchased. The first ingredient on the actual product was “maltodextrin” a highly processed charbohydrate used as a sweetener and thickening agent. Studies have shown Maltodextrin can increase intestinal inflammation and affect gut health. Other studies have also demonstrated that Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index meaning it can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar levels. Do not feed your kids this. Very disappointing. I was trying to increase my child’s protein intake, this is not the right choice and will be throwing it out.

Game-Changer for My Daughter’s Nutrition
As a dad, I’m always looking for ways to make sure my little girl is getting everything she needs to grow strong and healthy—without having to battle over every bite. My daughter just turned 2, and while she’s a good eater most days, she can be picky, especially when it comes to protein. I decided to give the TruHeight Chocolate Whey Protein Shake a try, and honestly, it’s been a huge win for us.
First off, the taste is spot on. She actually asks for her “chocolate milk” in the mornings now, and I don’t have to coax or bribe her to finish it. I’ve tried a few other kids’ shakes before, but they either tasted chalky, had a weird aftertaste, or didn’t mix well. This one blends smoothly in milk or even water, and there are zero clumps.
I also really like that it’s packed with vitamins and minerals—things like calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D, which are important for her bones and immune system. It’s reassuring to know she’s getting a good amount of protein too, especially during this big growth stage.
After about a month of using it a few times a week, I’ve noticed she seems to have more energy and her appetite overall has improved. She’s also filling out a little more in a healthy way, which is great since she’s always been on the slimmer side.
If I had to nitpick, the price is a bit higher than some other brands, but honestly, for the quality, taste, and the fact that my toddler actually drinks it, it’s worth every penny.
Bottom line: If you’re a parent of a picky eater or just want to boost your child’s nutrition without a daily struggle, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s become part of our morning routine, and I feel good knowing I’m giving my daughter something that supports her growth and development—without any battles at the breakfast table.

I purchased the TruHeight Growth Protein Shake (Chocolate Milk Flavor) for my 6-year-old, who’s a picky eater and needs extra nutrition to support growth. Overall, I’m really pleased with this product and would recommend it to parents looking for a kid-friendly protein shake.
Pros:
Taste: The chocolate milk flavor is a big hit! My kid loves it, which is a huge win since he’s usually very fussy about new foods. It mixes well with milk or water, creating a smooth, creamy texture that feels like a treat.
Nutrition: I appreciate that it’s designed for kids and teens, with vitamins and protein to support growth and development. Knowing it’s endorsed by pediatricians gives me confidence in its safety and effectiveness.
Easy to Use: The powder dissolves easily without clumps, and the packaging is convenient for daily use. It’s been a great addition to my son’s breakfast or after-school routine.
Picky Eater Friendly: This is one of the few nutritional supplements my child actually enjoys, which makes it easier to ensure he’s getting the nutrients he needs.
Cons:
Price: The product is a bit expensive compared to other kids’ protein shakes or nutritional drinks on the market. I wish it were more affordable for regular use.
Serving Size: The serving size feels a bit small for the price, especially for older teens who might need more per serving to feel full or meet their nutritional needs.
Overall: The TruHeight Growth Protein Shake is a fantastic option for parents of picky eaters looking to boost their kids’ nutrition. The chocolate flavor is a crowd-pleaser, and the quality ingredients make it trustworthy. I docked one star due to the higher price point and smaller serving size, but it’s still a solid choice for supporting my child’s growth. I’ll likely continue buying it, especially if there’s a sale!
