I bought this because of great reviews. The one I received is not safe. They sent a bottom step that has a beveled edge which keeps the step from fitting properly into the intended notches. So matter how we set it in or tighten the screws it moves when you step on it. Granted it would probably be fine for a child, but I bought it for myself since it said it could hold weight up to 300 lbs and noted it was usable for adults. I only weight half the maximum weight. The pics I included are when we flipped the step upside down since the bottom of the step has a straight edge, thinking that maybe it would be more stable that way. It did not change the outcome. BYW – the pic shown in the advertisement has a square edge bottom step.

Like the other reviewer, i was searching high and low for an adjustable toilet stool. My child is short but she’s using the big toilet and i want her to have a stool to put her feet on. Its important to have a good ergonomic posture when going poo poo. This is the only stool i find that is adjustable for this purpose. She started using it yesterday and it was perfect.
– assembly is very easy, adjusting to different heights is also painless.
– my daughter is 32 inches and for the top platform im using the third slot from the bottom up. The platform actually adds some height so i turned the platform upside down and it still works. In this setting the hight from ground to the platform is about 13 in.

This stool is great. Nice quality, smooth wood. We bought it because it was taller than other ones on the market and made getting to the potty easier and its perfect for that.

My 2-year old granddaughter uses this step stool to reach the bathroom sink and she loves it. It’s step height adjustable, very well made, and was simple to assemble.

EDIT: took a star away because that bottom step is terribly designed- not safe. Being used loosens the one screw on each side and after a few weeks of use it dumped my 1.5 year old off it to the floor.
Easy to build, wood is soft, mine had a few marks on it even on arrival. Height is great, also it’s adjustable- very cool! The bottom step is a problem though. It’s held to the frame with one screw on each side and this makes it move like a teeter totter.

Bought three for my grand kids after trying some other stool that were awful. These were easy to put together, adjustable, and good quality. Recommend the manufacturer sand the routing lines to mitigate splinters. For $40 dollars a piece, I expected it. Overall, a great stool; highly recommend.

sturdy and adjustable, this has been the perfect stool for my daughter as she uses the bathroom independently. She’s pretty strong for a toddler but she moves this thing all around the bathroom by herself.
