We got this as primarily a step stool and it doesn’t really work because of the gap after the front step makes it an easy fall hazard for our toddler. But for the toilet seat part, this is great! Assembly took about 20 minutes, and 40 if you have a toddler trying to help!

However, the major concern is stability. The unit feels wobbly during use, even with the non-slip feet, which creates anxiety for both parent and child. The connection points where the step stool attaches to the seat don’t feel secure enough for active toddlers. This instability makes supervised use essential, which somewhat defeats the independence aspect of potty training.
The anti-splash guard works as intended, and the handles do provide some security for little ones. The adjustable height feature functions properly, though the adjustment mechanism could be more robust. While the concept is solid and some features work well, the stability issues make it difficult to recommend confidently. Safety should be the top priority with any children’s product, and this one falls short in that critical area.

Love this potty training seat! It’s sturdy with no wobbling, and the large handles make it easy for kids to hold on and feel secure. Right now, I’m using it as a step stool for my 18-month-old, but I’ll soon add the potty seat for toilet training.
The adjustable second step is a great feature as little ones grow, and it’s lightweight, easy to install, and made with good quality materials. Definitely worth the price for a 3-in-1 that grows with your child.

This toilet training steps and seat is really nice once you get it put together. I will not lie the top part is extremely hard to push in and at first I thought there’s no way it fits but with a little pushing the bars ( they don’t bend) I was able to secure them in. Now I can’t get one of the tabs to let loose in the hole but it still feels pretty sturdy. I pushed and pulled and I don’t think my toddler is stronger than me so I doubt he can jerk it loose if I can’t. Directions are included but not so easy to follow for a beginner assembly. But I managed and I’m a mediocre assembler. I used a butter knife to secure the tabs on the sides and toilet seat and it damaged it a bit but figured a flat head would do more damage to the plastic. Everything is plastic but sturdy and solid. My son wanted to immediately use it and he managed to get up there by himself and do everything on his own in the big boy potty. You need some room to use this thing so make sure to have some to move it out your way because it does take up a ton of space and isn’t foldable which I figured it would be. Once it’s together I don’t see getting it apart very easily. I was concerned about the seat not fitting the toilet seat but it did. Worked great for my son who has been apprehensive to potty training and using the baby potty and I really hope this gets him more excited to use his big boy potty. We’re using it in our guest bathroom, which sucks for guests but works since you can’t store it easily. The only thing that folds is the potty seat part. Would be way better if the entire thing folded to set to the side when an adult needs to use it.

I bought this potty training seat to help my 3-year-old son learn to potty train. My baby was overjoyed when he saw it and now wants to go to the bathroom more often. He can get up and down on his own. This seat is very stable and there’s no risk of him falling. It’s also very comfortable and functional. He also uses it to reach the sink to brush his teeth. It’s very useful and has excellent quality. I highly recommend it.
