   I tried this supplement before giving it to my child just to get an idea of how good they are. The capsules are small and perfectly round, which should be easy for my 7 year old to swallow. They are very easy for an adult to swallow, but I also chewed one as the package says they are chewable. The tablets kind of slipped around my mouth and it took more than one try to pinch it between my teeth. Once it was in place, I had to bite down pretty hard to get it to burst. There is such a small mouth of oil in each tablet that you barely notice it. As far as flavor, there really wasn’t much. It didn’t taste like algae and there was only the slightest hint of fruity flavoring. The chewable capsule was… weird. It was really thick and felt more like plastic than gelatin, and it took a while to chew it up before swallowing.

   Overall, this is a good product. I didn’t care for the texture of the capsule while chewing, but other than that, I have no complaints. If your child is old enough to swallow small supplements, I get the feeling it would be much easier to swallow the tablet than chew it up.

   My son loves them. We dried the fish gummies and drops, they made him nauseous. But these worked just fine and his neurologist approved them.

   I bought this because I’m pregnant and pills have been making me vomit and this states it is a chewable. The pills were so hard to bite/pop and tasted like I was eating old fish. I expected the casing to dissolve but they were so thick and just sat in my mouth. I wish I could give this 0 stars

   These are not easy to chew. Once they burst open there’s a hard casing you have to gnaw on or spit out. And it’s technically fruit flavored in the sense that you could put fruit flavoring on a piece of fish. But it still tastes fishy. I’m glad my kid can swallow these because they’d be a HARD no otherwise.
