If you received your bar with the side screws/bolts in place already I hope this review helps. I tried for a while to loosen it. What worked for me and laying sideways on flat service and applying downward pressure. I used an oven mitten to protect my hands. It will take a lot of pressure to release it but once you hear the click you know it’s loose. Hope this saves someone time. Overall great bar quality and easy assembly.

This is actually really heavy duty! Our daughter uses it almost every day and it’s held up fabulously. The little pads on the bottom of the stand help to prevent it from slipping on bare floors.

This is an extremely high quality bar, im very impressed. The screws were in fact very hard to take out but luckily from the other reviews i was able to get them free. Kinda slips sometimes but i use a thin yoga mat to keep from sliding. I absolutely love it!!! Now I can practice straddle handstands and pirouettes away from the gym, also the price?? amazing quality for $20 cheaper! Also super easy to transport. Don”t hesitate, buy it!

Screws will not come out they won’t budge at all! Why would the put the screws in and not the wooden bar! I tried everything to get the screws out they won’t budge and my hands are now tore up from it!

This bar is easily installed, great quality, perfect fit for our gymnastics class. Wonderful value for our money, we’re able to use this bar for so many different skills in the gym.

Omg it was impossible to unscrew one of the screws. One side was fine (the screw was loose) but like other reviewers mentioned one side came already screwed in and it was really tight!! I could not get it no matter what I tried. Thankfully my husband was able to get it loosened (thanks to some tips from other reviewers!) It took a LOT of force. IDK why they don’t keep the screws separate?! Otherwise it’s great! My daughter loves it.
