Straight Outta Scranton –
This has been a great activity for our kids, who love to swing, do pull-ups, and spin with the rings. The instructions were a bit out of date and I didn’t use the lock washer or washer for the base bolts since they wouldn’t fit well, but everything came together relatively easily and all tools needed were included. It is easy to adjust and folds for transport/storage. We regularly adjust the height to accommodate different kids and it has been easy. The rings provide natural height variance so different height kids can play together. Good value to price and I would easily purchase for any aspiring gymnasts.

We initially set this up in our living room and the kids would use this all day every day during this summer, but after a while it was just too large so we moved it to a downstairs play area.
Overall, we absolutely love this, and I really only have a couple small “issues” I just want to share.
Small Issues:
1) Because there are metal bars running across both sides of this, if your child falls or swings and launches off of this, there’s a good chance they’ll hit their head or stub their toe on the metal bars along the bottom. My kids learned pretty quickly to be really careful when running around this or falling around this so this wouldn’t happen, but just something to be aware of.
2) Adjusting the bar is pretty annoying because you have to fully unscrew both sides to move it up or down, and since my kids are different heights they’d usually both want it at different heights, so I’d make the younger one use the hanging handles and the older one could use the bar at the higher height. Not an issue, just slightly annoying there’s not a faster way to adjust it.
3) If your kids actually try to hang on this and swing back and forth on it, it does move a bit. Not enough that I’m really concerned or anything, but my 5 year old is able to really make this move a bit both left and right or forward and backward when he holds on and swings back and forth from it. Not a huge deal or anything and it has never looked like it’s going to collapse or anything, it just makes me nervous.
Overall though, outside of the few small issues we had with this, it was easy to assemble, stays together and stable pretty well, and has been a ton of fun for all of my kids to hang and swing from whenever they walk by it. I give this an 8/10, mostly recommend, great little basement activity setup for younger kids!

This gymnastics kip bar is a blast for my kids’ indoor workouts. It’s sturdy and comes with a mat and ring set they love. Assembly took about 45 minutes, with clear instructions, though I needed a wrench for some bolts. The bar adjusts easily to different heights, great for growing kids. It folds up nicely for storage. My neighbor’s daughter tried it and had so much fun swinging on the rings she begged her mom for one.

Great value for what you get and weight capacity allows for even adults to hang.
