My 5 year old needed a little bit of help reaching the sink in the kids bathroom. I was looking for a stool that he could slide out, unfold when he needs it and then fold it to put it back. Unfortunately this is too hard for him to fold up on his own so we just keep it assembled in front of the sink. I’m able to fold it up relatively well, but I admit its even a struggle for me.
As far as the sturdiness, its great. No issues at all with myself standing on it let alone the kiddos.

If you need an adjustable step stool, look no further!
However, it does feel a bit rickety when you step up on it. Not that it’s going to collapse or anything like that, but you can tell when cheaper or thinner materials have been used in manufacturing.
Overall, it does the job, and I weigh around 220 lbs. I used it recently for some physical work in my shop, where I was on and off of it repeatedly while using heavy tools. It did fine!

This product is excellent. My only gripe is that it’s not slip resistant on hardwood floors and that’s what I have in my house. I had to find a slip resistant rug to go under it so that it wouldn’t slip when I was getting up on my bed. One of the main reasons I bought it was because it was described as “ slip resistant “ and it’s not so on hardwood floors. The product itself is very sturdy, easy to set up and put away. Too bad it’s not slip resistant on ALL floors, but I still give it 5 stars!

I originally ordered this stool for my sister, whom at 4′ 13″ tall, she definitely falls into the altitude challenged category of sisters. So I figured this would help her like in the kitchen to get things off the top shelf and so on. However, once I got this item, I found a better more unusual use for it. I have a lifted pick up truck and there have been a number of times where I have had some passengers where it has been difficult for them to climb into the truck. I have had other stools that I have tried, but they were always so cumbersome to keep in the truck because of their size. The folding ones always had this tall handle that just got in the way.
With the way that this stool folds up, it fits perfectly under the rear seat. It was like it was made for it. It is so easy to pull out, unfold, set it down and helps people to easily get in and out of the truck and is the perfect height for it. There is no extending handle to get in the way like the fold up stools I had tried before. Just a nice step.
A huge bonus is the rubberized feet on the legs of the stool. I can use this in rainy weather and I dont worry about the stool slipping out from underneath someone while they are on it. The rubber on top makes it more secure as well. It just works!
Needless to say I kept this one for myself. But I am a good brother in the end. I bought her one of her own. 🙂

While I believe this is quite sturdy, it doesn’t ‘seem’ sturdy. When stepping on, it feels like the legs might give out. This is because, even when folded out, there is a little wiggle room. The legs settle into place when weight is applied to the stool. It’s not a large movement, but it’s enough that I notice it every time I use the stool. The “non-slip” feet are not effective. They’re ok if you’re stepping straight up or down but can be problematic if sideways force is applied, such as when a child jumps onto or off of it. The force of jumping (or perhaps falling sideways), causes the stool to slide across the floor.

I dont have a lot of space, but I’ve been needing an extra step up to clean some harder to reach areas. I like that this folds up, slips into the closet, and takes up very little space. One thing, this step isnt a light weight. I’m under 200lbs, but this step feels weighty and sturdy. It seems like it could easily handle much more. Overall, I’m pleased with this guy. I’m secretly planning on taking it camping to use as an ottoman for my camping chair. I’d say if you’re not needing a step ladder set up, only marginal height with three settings, this one is worth considering. Hope this helps!

This step stool is pretty good. The buttons to open and close can be a little difficult. I like that you can adjust height to 3 different levels. Stores away small. Give ample height to reach on top of cupboards. Sturdy, holds my 280lb weight just fine. Definitely recommend.
