My kids LOVE this gymnastics bar. If you have more than one kid you may want to get 2 because they will fight over it. Mine are 6 and 8 and it’s a good size for them. It stows away easily. We even pack it in the back of our truck when we’re going to the grandparents house so they can play on it with their cousins

My daughter has missed her weekly gymnastics classes due to the COVID-19 shutdown. We are happy to stay at home so that our front line health care workers can not be overwhelmed! We brought gymnastics class to us! We already had a nice big mat and folding balance beam, but this is the difference maker for my 10 year old. She is so excited and has been on it almost every day for the 2 weeks we’ve had it. She is training hard on it, too! For the cost of one month’s gymnastics classes (once a week – not competitive) we bought this and a mat that would fit under it.
Note: I would NEVER allow my child to use this without purchasing a 2 inch think mat to go under it.
It fold up but she has used it so consistently we haven’t bothered to do it other than for demonstration purposes! Once life goes back to “the new normal” we will most likely use the fold up feature and LOVE it!

This came with an Allen wrench and some screws. Its all you need to put it together and im telling you it was about the easiest thing i ever put together for my kids and took maybe 15 minutes. When i put it out for Xmas on the lowest setting my 4 year old was able to do flips easily. It was still high enough on the lowest setting for my 8 year old to do the same. My 20 month old was able to reach up and touch the bars. It still goes quite a few notches higher for when they get bigger. Folding/collapsing it is easy, pretty much like putting up a kick stand on a bike. The bar is very sturdy the way it is designed with large turn handle screws on each end. If you dont line them up correctly with the hole in the bar it wont tighten so thats a good design to let you know when you have it installed right so the bar doesnt fall one way or the other when the kids are upside down. I would definitely recommend buying some sort of padded mat, something thicker than a yoga one for sure with the potential for a kid to smash their head. Im really happy with this purchase and what i like about it most was how easy it was to assemble with a very small amount of screws and steps. My wife loves the fact that it collapses and can easily be put behind a couch or under a bed. Its probably too big to fit in a normal size coat closet though.

Bought this for my 7 year old Granddaughter as she just started gymnastics. Wow what a great buy…It is easy to assemble, fold and is sturdy. I love that it folds easy and fits in any room even her small bedroom and folds right away with ease. She has enjoyed hours every day on this bar. I would recommend this to parents or grandparents to purchase as it gives hours of fun for the kids!!! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!!!!

This bar is really nice- sturdy, well made, easy to set up and compact to fold and put away ot carry around easily. I returned it because the pictures made it look much bigger than it actually was. My 7 yo could practice her pull overs but not much else. We had to get a bigger (more expensive set) just for functionality. This is probably a good set to get for much younger kids.

My little granddaughter was always trying to lift herself up on anything that she could. Now with this small bar she can lift herself and the rings that come with it are nice to have when her hands are getting tired
